What can I donate?
The ReStore accepts many items for donation as long as those items are in good condition. An list of items can be found on our Donate page. If you wish to inquire about a specific item that is not listed on our donate page, please call us at (423) 473-4610.

Where do I take my donations?
Any items you wish to donate can be brought to the ReStore during normal business hours. We are located at 300 Grove Ave. SW in Cleveland, and are open Monday - Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Donation drop-off is to the left of the ReStore (as you are looking at the building from Grove Ave. SW). Please follow all signage and staff directions to ensure a smooth drop-off experience.

Please do not leave items after hours or on Sunday as we are not able to secure items when the store is not staffed.

How can I donate?
ReStore accepts lightly used household items (which you can use as a tax write-off). You can also donate your time volunteering in the ReStore. Habitat for Humanity accepts cash donations as well.

What are your stipulations for donating items?
Items should be in good condition, fully functional, and free of major damage such as deep scratches, chips or cracks, stains on fabric, tears or strong odors. Should i donate this to the Habitat Restore? (pdf)

Do you give away free homes or furniture?
No. Habitat for Humanity of Cleveland works with volunteers, corporate sponsors, and ReStore sales to build quality, affordable homes. Families accepted into the Habitat Homeowner program undergo an 18-month to two year process to qualify for homeownership. Prospective homeowners purchase their home from Habitat for Humanity with a low mortgage rate.
